The literary liberty taken allows for a multitude of different explanations of events that have occurred such as the Age of Dinosaurs, the creation of the first manlike creatures, various historical events such as the Dark Ages and the Age of enlightenment. It can be used to create alternative explanations of how the legendary figures such as Arthur and Merlin lived or how the Age of Chivalry changed man's outlook on the world in which he lives. Naturally, enough it gives the writer the ability to reach alternative explanations of history changing even such as the Crusades, the Fall of Constantinople, the disintegration of the Roman Empire and any other event that is still not fully explained by historians.

Brinkton's key to the Timeless area is his highly technical VALIANT that can morph into a time traveling ship as well as into a submarine or earth borer.
